Steps to Becoming a Member:

The steps to becoming a member are available on the national headquarters site here.

Cost: $25/year

Dues are paid annually, at time of joining and on their membership anniversary. Dues can be charged via credit card online when completing online application / renewal.

Osan Cadet Squadron makes all efforts to minimize cost for cadets and does not charge additional dues. However, transferring membership to CONUS units may require additional cost at time of annual renewal. Costs for each wing are listed here.

There are a select few events throughout the year that have additional minimal cost, except for encampment. Osan Cadet Squadron makes every effort to keep these costs as low as possible and advertise the cost as soon as possible. These events are all voluntary and not required for membership.

Information for Parents:

National Headquarters has good information for parents of prospective cadets located here and here. Also, there is a good FAQs section.

Resources for New/Potential Cadets:

Once you have decided to join, new cadets should follow the steps to their first rank here.

Cadets can get a jump on studying their texts before their hard copy materials arrive by downloading the Learn to Lead books from this page.

They can download their Aerospace Dimensions manual from eServices here as soon as they become a member and create their account.

They can start learning about drill from here.

Cadets can learn about promotion requirements from the Stripes to Diamonds page. Be sure to download the Super Chart and click on the rank they are working for to learn what is required to promote.
